Rendu Towers is owned and operated by Ozcare, a leading not-for-profit provider of aged, community and health services.

Ozcare has been caring for the Queensland community for over 25 years with a comprehensive range of residential aged care, home care, retirement living, hospital, disability care, respite care, nursing, allied health and dementia advisory and support services.

Ozcare’s workforce of over 3,800 staff and 200 volunteers proudly service thousands of clients every day from 44 locations across Queensland.

We have a firm vision to co-locate retirement villages with our aged care facilities and support village residents with our community care offering. We are proud to co-locate Rendu Towers with Ozcare Villa Rosalie aged care facility and offer support to residents from Ozcare Brisbane North community care.

Rendu Towers is deeply rooted within Newstead’s industrial and urban heritage. This, along with Ozcare’s over 25-year history and Catholic ethos, inspired the selection of a name that not only has genuine meaning but equally reflects the importance of community.

Named after Blessed Rosalie Rendu, mentor to Blessed Frederic Ozanam (Ozcare’s namesake), Sr Rosalie was an extraordinary woman with great energy, creativity and courage.

Known as the “good mother to all” Sr Rosalie dedicated her life to helping others and being a friend to those less fortunate. In the spirit of Blessed Rosalie Rendu, Rendu Towers encourages a warm, supportive community that inspires a sense of belonging.

Gallus Partners was established in 2002 and is a specialist boutique advisory, development management and investment enterprise.

Gallus Partners was appointed to lead the design, planning approval and ongoing development management of Ozcare’s Newstead project.

Conrad Gargett bring unrivalled vision, innovative design and world leading expertise built upon a vibrant legacy.

Conrad Gargett was engaged to design Ozcare’s dual-tower development to deliver 135 independent living units (ILUs), as well as a 120-bed residential aged care facility (RACF). It will be constructed over a complex four-storey podium incorporating 3000m2 of commercial space, RACF support area and car parking.

Since their early beginnings, Hutchinson Builders (Hutchies) has grown into a dynamic and diverse construction company, delivering sophisticated projects across a comprehensive portfolio.

Australia’s largest privately owned construction company, Hutchinson Builders was engaged to construct Ozcare’s two-stage multi-use development in the sought-after inner-city Brisbane suburb of Newstead.
